Bigger problem, fix those that troll and those that reward trolling.
I don't, but a lot of people do... to the point it turns entire community pages into nothing but negative posts complaining about the dumbest of things. People who want to engage in conversation or are seeking help get flooded by these stupid farms.
Valve should really do something about the way Steam points work.

All you can do is ignore it if you don't have anything to do with it.
Of course if you see any of those reviews and such breaking the rules, you CAN report them.
Basically the bottom line is this - so what? If people want to do it. Let them.
ot your remit to say what's right and what's wrong. Valve WILL know about this so they'll decide if it's right or wrong.
Maybe make it so you can only receive one type of award per piece of content
If someone likes your content, say a review because it really hits home, why shouldn't you get more of the same? It'd help others realise it's worth reading for a start.
It all has knock on effects.
