No.
You have owned Counter-Strike GO since at least 2016 and PUBG since 2018. Just because they went F2P, that doesn't mean you deserve a refund.

Not going to happen. You paid for the game, you got the game. If they issued refunds for copies bought years ago just because the game is now free then that's potentially millions of profit gone, and not how business works.

You've played CSGO for over a thousand hours. You've played PUBG for over 700 hours. Take the price of each game, divide that by that by time played. Cost per hour? Pennies. You got your money's worth out of them.

And how many hundreds of hours did you play either game before they went F2P? You're gonna argue you didn't get anything from paying for them?

I mean next thing you're gonna do is start demanding refunds for games that developers give away on Epic. Maybe demand refunds for games you paid $59.99 on release day, and years later are discounted to $19.99. Talk about naive wishful thinking.

Nope, contract law and consumer rights don't work ANYTHING like this. You should perhaps look up how the real world works to realise how wrong you are.

When you go to buy a game, or even get a free game, you are making a contract where BOTH parties agree. They agree to provide you the game t the price offered, and you agree to the terms of sale.

Part of those terms you AGREED to are 2 hours played or less and bought within 14 days. You AGREED to this.

So you cannot go changing ♥♥♥♥ years after. This would never stand up anywhere.

Eula's and ToS's will get you all the time. Ever wonder why there designed and printed in a way so the normal person on the street doesn't understand them, especially young gamer's.

OP, only advice is to move on from this or contact support. And if your still not happy wiht what support says, go seek some legal advice.

When CS:GO went free you got Prime for free. So you already were compensated.
When PUBG went free, you got PUBG Plus for free. So you already were compensated.

It's a good thing it become free so everyone can play, the game just got better no reason to refund.

Also, most(?) games that move to a F2P model will give existing players something. This may or may not be something you appreciate, but it's just on top of the time you've already played anyway.

There's whole lot of similar cases as well, like stuff going on sale, or seeing a reduction in base price. Again, you're not entitled to a cash-back if you're outside the refund window...

That's actually not true at all.

They are not designed with that in mind at all, quite the opposite.

The actual reality is that the terms have to be as concise as possible and to some they can seem overly wordy. This is just how it is.

It was always a bone of contention to some who didn't understand this when I worked in insurance. Altering or amending the contract needed to be done as I said, concisely, but also in a particular way so as not to overrule any other term, and try to be not at all ambiguous while covering as many situations as you can.

That can't be done any easier than it is.
