Are there any casual multiplayer games anymore?
I'm just tired of CSGO, R6, Dota 2, etc.
Everyone is just sweating their balls off in casual thinking they are gonna be the next s1mple or something.

I get that gaming is more of a business now with all these esport events and sh*t and that competitive is a must have in order for a game to stay relevant, but are there any casual games where u can just play and chill without getting 1 tapped from some dude who probably spends like 12 hours of a day playing the game.

TF2 woukd be perfect, but Valve ditched that game the moment they realised they can't make a competitive scene out of it and now it's just full of bots who mic spam and spinbot around like there is no tomorrow.

Anyone on the same boat as me?

i treat it all casually even if i'm playing ranked

just try to have fun
There's 100% Orange Juice (which is actually on sale now I think?), though that's not an FPS game, which sounds like what you might be looking for.

I don't know if Splatoon (or Splatoon 2) or Overwatch might have what you're looking for; I know I've been interested in them since they have a somewhat similar "flavor" to TF2. Also maybe Rocket League?

If you are looking for a fun game that can be played casually that isn't an FPS, you should check out FFXIV. It's an MMORPG but it has one of the greatest communities I've ever been a part of and is super fun solo or with friends.

I recently got into overwatch, super fun game. Not overly toxic, fun, don’t really have to put much effort into it.
I like this

Pro - tip - AVOID PvP or competitive multiplayer and go for co-op.

Personally, I've never liked competitive anyway, so the times I play such games are really rare. I far prefer behaving in games as I do in real life - helping others. So co-op does it for me.

And thre are plenty good ones like this. I recommend Killing Floor and Killing Floor 2. It's a straight up wave based shooter, so while limited you can jump in and out. The actual gunplay is pretty nice - it's the viscreal feedback that makes it enjoyable. More though, the sound is excellent. Stick some good heaphones on and you can exactly place where enemies are coming from behind you, keeping your teammates alive.

I recommend you either Google Co-op multiplayer games or search on the store for the popular ones.

Are they supposed to let you win? Are they supposed to change how they play because it makes you sad?

No, just wish they would go to rank with that instead of to casual. You don't need to play casual like your life depends on it.

Oh so you get to dictate how/where they play then?

Skill based match making is baked into nearly every online competitive game these days. If you don't want that, find games that allow people to host their own servers.
