i accidentally friend requested a user with a vac ban does that mean im also going to get vac banned
they didnt accept it before i canceled it but still, i didnt know they were vac banned

A VAC Ban is a ban given only to an individual that has cheated on a VAC secured game. If you don't cheat, you won't get a ban at all. Nothing to worry about! :)

VAC does not commit collective punishment. Associating with a cheater doesn't ban you.

I had a friend that got a ban . He downloaded some crosshairs to use on FPS game . The crosshairs the game came with blew chunks . lol .

No. VAC bans aren't like a disease. You can only be VAC banned for cheating,sharing a phone number with an account at the time said account gets banned or library sharing with an account that is banned for cheating.

VAC ONLY detects if YOU )ie. your account) is using known cheats injected into the game you're playing.

That's all. So you cannot get VAC banned by osmosis.
