Cannot buy a bundle if I already own the games, however I can buy the games individually. (Gift)

Hi, first of all I own almost all Half life games (except half life alyx). I want to purchase a half life bundle and give it to someone else as a gift. However the thing is that I cannot buy this bundle at once. BUT I can purchase these game individually... Why I cannot buy a full bundle at once? Am I missing something?

Tailored bundles can't be purchased as a gift, no. That is because they are tailored to the account that is purchasing them.

There are non-tailored bundles as well, that can be gifted.

Both of these are up to the game's developer.

I understand but I dont understand why I cant buy a full pack to give it straight away to someone else. I guess I will just buy them one by one (well I dont have much of a choice).

Because it is a custom bundle for your account, not others. Games are removed if you own them.

Developers can set up both kinds. Honestly, they should too, imho.

Instead, you could check the store page while not logged in and send wallet funds in the amount need for them to purchase the bundle... assuming you are not using Wallet Funds to make the purchase.
