Reset all controller configurations?
Full story below but here is the TLDR: Steam now recognizes my ROG Chakram mouse as 4 xbox (yes 4) controllers when I plug it in. Is there a way to reset Steam so it recognizes it as "ROG Chakram" as it did before I attempted to get steam to recognize my mouse's thumbstick?

I was trying to get my ROG Chakram joystick to work with New World like a 360 degree joystick would. I followed the instructions provided by ROG on their website and now steam recognizes my rog chakram as 4 xbox controllers in the controller configuration settings instead of "ROG Chakram". Below is a copy paste of what is on ROG's website.

"[ROG CHAKRAM] How to simulate my mouse joystick on Steam

Follow the steps below to simulate your ROG Chakram’s joystick on Steam:

1. Launch Steam

Setting -> Controller -> GENERAL CONTROLLER SETTINGS

2.Switch to Profile 3 by pressing and holding.(DPI button + scroll click)

Check Xbox Configuration Support and Generic Gamepad Configuration Support.

Choose the Gamepad in Detected Controllers.

3. Set Button 0~3 to each command by clicking mouse buttons.

Button 0 – Backward

Button 1 – Foreward

Button 2 – Scroll Clock

Button 3 – Right Button

4. Set Axis 0 and Axis 1 to each command by controlling the joystick.

5. Press Esc on your keyboard.

Choose SAVE to finish your settings."

Would love to get some guidance on how to reset the controller detection back to its stock settings so Steam doesn't show 4 xbox controllers and recognizes it as a mouse again.

Thank you!

Load up steam big picture mode and check the controller configs, it may have some reset options for you.

Yeah well the point is necroing old threads ain't going to get you any repsonses that's the point.

Make your own new thread on the hardware forums here and hopefully someone will get to you. Asking in the right place is the way to go.

And you'd be surprised on here.
