Restricted from sales, yes, maybe? It sounds familiar, but I don't remember it off the top of my head. But I do know it's often repeated customer boogeyman that must be true because people can imagine it. Although there's scant little evidence that I'm aware of and the few times people have been bold enough to name games or publishers in topics I've participated in, the reality doesn't seem to agree with their beliefs.
Developers and publishers by in large simply aren't playing games with prices like that.
Your dislike of what is provided is your own problem. There's MULTITUDES of genres on sale. Get over yourself.
Never in my life have i seen something like that.
Except for every other sale on Steam ever.
It's a Halloween sale. There's not supossed to be much variety in a thematic sale.
Future sale coming up in November: Black Friday & Cyber Monday are popular enough to also likely have even the most recent released games to possibly have a chance at a discount
