I've seen this claim a lot. But surely if you're confident you could provide some specific examples. And a simple trip to SteamDB will prove them out.

Or you could stick with the classic, "If you want to be right, be vague" approach. Although it's 100% more dismissable.

Restricted from sales, yes, maybe? It sounds familiar, but I don't remember it off the top of my head. But I do know it's often repeated customer boogeyman that must be true because people can imagine it. Although there's scant little evidence that I'm aware of and the few times people have been bold enough to name games or publishers in topics I've participated in, the reality doesn't seem to agree with their beliefs.

Developers and publishers by in large simply aren't playing games with prices like that.

Sales now suck?

I havent been on steam for that long but i remeber the fun event from the summer of 2018 i think with the aliens event and like when on sales you would everyday click on another part of the picture and get something from it and slowly uncover the whole picture, etc. but now badges are needed to be bought with real money and not even fun, they just put it out there to buy it with no mini event or anything and sales seems to suck, like every sale no matter which one, prices are the same but depending on what type of the year it is the background of the sale pic is diff, like even some games like Rust or Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, the price on this ,,halloween sale,, is bigger than on some normal sale cus i remember i bought SWJFO for 15 euros and on this sale its 18

Yep, thats why i posted here, to see if everyone else think the same, cause in other forums people were saying a lot of trash

Games are on sale because developers have given the go ahead for Steam to promote their game in a sale for whatever reason, since it is the Halloween Sale, not all games will be on sale and most obviously will be horror based to fit the theme of course

Future sale coming up in November: Black Friday & Cyber Monday are popular enough to also likely have even the most recent released games to possibly have a chance at a discount
