Time played doesn't equal skill. Or anything.
If you suck at the game and people see you've played for 1000 hours you will be ridiculed.
If you are good at the game and people see you've played for 1000 hours ... you will be ridiculed.
Think about what you're saying here. Only Steam games show hours played on Steam (on your profile etc). You can idle a non-steam game all you want, but the number of hours won't show anywhere on Steam.
It just shows the in-game status as far as i know.
you know i mean like non-steam game like idle :> that will show up on my profile and i will be idling games like CS:GO and other games
yes this is doable. When you add a non steam game to your library you can adjusts the Shortcut via properties to say pretty much anything. I have Openxcom set to say "Shagging your Mum Simulator 2018"
Should be noted that this sort of thing cannot affect or save hours as steam does not record hours for non steam games
