this link is not the total of my spend on steam.. got anything else..
Steam support page > My account > Data releated to my account > External Funds Used
Your transacation would be here.
View Account details > View purchase history
or
Steam support page > My account > Manage Account Details (email, phone, payment, country) > View purchase history
I'm giving a solution to your problem you can do yourself if you wanted if you wanted to know things.
You can see your spending for in-games, that kind of the point of transaction history, if you're talking about making payment outside of Steam, steam can't track that as it's outside of their store, and only the service you're dealing with that outside of Steam can tell you what you want to know.
Not all banks are the same is what I'm saying, and people don't need to get a better bank if they're happy with what they have, some gives you searchs, some don't, and you're asking for how to filter your search and only show one type of transactions of thigns only, which a lot of banks don't really do, they show you all the transactions you did within period of time, but not excluding the other transactions you wanted, so you have to read, not a quick summery breakdown you wanted.
It's not psychology really, a news section meant for devs to info you of news and updates, which kind of the whole point of news, and update. Again no one trying to psychology use you, nor bilnd you, that like saying a gambling slot machine is trying to psychology use you, despite it gave all the info at front of it, and explains how it works, and doesn't control, nor stop you, that just you making the choice of wanting to use it, then wanting to blame something for not controlling yourself, and expecting someone to do it for you. Do you not have control over your wallet?
Yea some food products rip people off, but that their choice if they want to buy those products over others that gives the better deal, such as lays chips that been around for years, yet people buying them still, go do your history and maybe you learn more it's not just there, it's everywhere in the market that there going to be rip off things.

This is a sum of external funds that have been applied to your Steam account, either to purchase games on the Steam store or fund your Steam Wallet. These values are calculated only when needed and are not always current. If the values are not presented below, they are not currently stored in our database but you can always find a full list of your purchases at https://store.steampowered.com/account/history. "TotalSpend" is the total amount of external funds applied to your account. This value is used to determine if an account is a "Limited User Account". "OldSpend" is the amount of external funds applied before Friday, April 17, 2015 18:00:00 UTC. If your account was linked to Perfect World for CS:GO or Dota 2, "PWSpend" will be the approximate USD value of funds applied from Perfect World, otherwise that value will be zero.
