"Clown" profile award?

I just got an email that my profile received a clown award. While I am glad that I will receive 200 tokens to spend on other awards, it can be seen as offensive, and it is publicly displayed as a badge on my profile. How do I hide it?

I would do that in a heartbeat. But only if it must be applied right away and can't be removed for 30 days. Similar to the seasonal profile but they get to keep it forever.

Per UGC or profile, correct. It blurs out what you already awarded.

I've never gotten an award, but hopefully I can get one from just clowning around on the forums.

On the topic of Steam Awards, i don't really like the way they are handled. I just wish there was a way to hide them completely off the site. Hate seeing these awards fill my screen.

Not to mention it's blatantly stolen off Reddit.
