As Totoro said, in the previous thread, if you wish to appeal your ban reply to the message. It doesn't really matter who reads it because that's your only option. There's no other channel for appeal.
I tend to only reply in cases of clear misunderstandings but responses to the tune of "the ban is not fair" are ignored.
Otherwise contact Steam support.
Based on what you know about the story, about the context of the banned reply, do you not see why a ban like this is an issue? I’m literally being punished for referencing a character from a game in that games forum. It wasn’t even a spoiler as I wasn’t flat out obvious about it, so why is what I did against the forum rules enough to warrant both a ban and the deletion of the reply?
Debating a ban here isn’t going to accomplish anything.
You can preach all you want, but we’re talking about 2 completely different things. The ban has nothing to do with “dark and edgy jokes”.
You were already told what to do and the fist post even links you to the correct response.
Replying to the ban message notifies the moderator who issued the ban.
There is a link in the ban message to contact Steam Support. It is even underlined in the last line of the ban message.
For future reference, you can edit your post instead of deleting them. Even the OP when making a thread.
