Adult content issue

I am sure its already been said but i object to having my discovery queue filled with pornography just because i have Okayed Adult content. I have that set as there are many games (such as the Witcher for example) that need that selected to be able to show up. Instead i get crap like Porn Crates and sex simulators show up. Lets be honest these type of games are pornography. Im no prude, but Steam should classify the likes of Porn Crates as sex games and seperated from good adult computer games.

Have you already run out of more famous games to show you on the Discovery Queue? If so, you might be scraping the bottom of the barrel.

There are 2 different settings in your preference settings, "Nudity or Sexual Content", that covers nudity and sex scenes like in Witcher or other mature rated games.

Then there is "Adult Only Sexual Content " which is explicitly to show hardcore pornographic games on the store.

If you have the latter active there is no one to blame but yourself, if you only have the first active then those games that annoy you are not pornographic, period. They may have nudity or light sexual content but nothing outright pornographic.
And those games have the same right to be seen on the discovery queue as every other game.

Filter out the hentai tag. That alone gets rid of the far most porn-lazily-disguised-as-game.
If it were for me, I'd also like a distinction between games with sex and porn-lazily-disguised-as-game but that's hard to do in reality. Where do you draw the line and how?

Filtering out tags is your best option and, speaking from own experience, it works.

The Witcher 3 doesn't fall in the Adult Only category, but in the Nudity or Sexual Content one.

Disable Adult Only Sexual Content, and Nudity & Sexual CIOntent in your store prefs. Your problem will be solved.

Yeah, but its more about trash games, even if it isnt porn cash grabs there are non porn cash grabs as well. I think Ive seen 1 good porn game in all this time.

Your discovery queue is based on your viewing and/or buying habits. Browse and buy more "mainstream" games and you will see less of those results.

Yup, my main account storefront is a clean shopping mall. My alt account's front looks like a seedy red light district. Yet I have all content enabled on both.

Click your name/avatar in the upper right corner of the client. Go so "Store preferences".

Under the "MATURE CONTENT" it is the fourth box you need to uncheck.

Those are not the options I see in my preferences. I have 3 settings:

General Mature Content: "Tick this box if you are okay with seeing games that are intended for mature audiences. These games may have content or themes not appropriate for all audiences such as such as graphic violence, frequent nudity, sexual content, and other mature topics."

Frequent Violence or Gore: Tick this box if you are okay with seeing games that contain frequent violence or gory content.

Nudity or Sexual Content: Tick this box if you are okay with seeing games that contain some nudity or sexual content.

I only have General Mature Content enabled and cannot see Witcher 3 at all. So the OP has a point. There is no option for "Adult Only Sexual Content".. in the options that I've been given, such a thing does not exist (and it should).

Those are not the options I see in my preferences. I have 3 settings:

General Mature Content: "Tick this box if you are okay with seeing games that are intended for mature audiences. These games may have content or themes not appropriate for all audiences such as such as graphic violence, frequent nudity, sexual content, and other mature topics."
