no comment box on profiles?

i was wondering if anyone can help me with an issue?, i am able to comment on only friends profiles. All of my privacy settings are on public but i cannot comment on non friends profiles?

The profile comments are only allowed in your friends profile or if someone have his profile public (and able to put public comments)

Once again, because their privacy settings don't allow you to. Your privacy settings HAVE NOTHING to do with someone else's profile.

There is no other issue. They have their privacy settings set to not allow comments / only allow friends.

Look in your own profile above the comments box is a tick or not to tick, Obviously they have left their box unticked so no public comments allowed.

That box is for subscribing to the comment section. To change comment permissions (friends, public, private) you have to go to your privacy settings.

It doesn't matter as they're not one and the same.

You can have a public profile, but still set it to not allow comments.

If they've simply set it to where you can't comment, there's nothing you can do about it.

the only thing you can do is add them as a friend and even then they might ignore/block you.
