how to download "tools"?

steam ui is a freaking mess.

i wanna download a "tool" of a game i purchased, but i can't access the page where i can search for that tool.

the only way i can access to "tool" now, is by clicking the tool option in the library view which default enabled the "game" option, but there is no ui for me to do searching for tool

You can filter tools while not having games shown in the library. Just un/tick the checkboxes in the dropdown.

that's only to show tools.
what i need is to search for a tool to install.
i did this long time ago when the ui is no fancy and function.

anyway, i don't need the tool anymore.

but the ui really crappy. even the hidden games now still not showing properly.

It was changed, and now you just have no choice but to toggle filters, AFAIK.

You can still use the search function for tools in your library. What else do you want or mean? You can even create bloody collections for them.

ok, i have to untick all 2 options beside the tools:recently activity, ready to play.
then all tools will be shown.

gosh, it take some many steps to get this.
