Talking about games that have Spyware added in their games,should there be a list of software that comes withing the game in the store page ?

So i talk from a stand of ignorance about this stuff but i felt like to make a discussion about this.
A new month came and humble bundle added new games to their monthly and one of those is "The Wild Eight",apparently an unfinished survival early access game from the studio that is making "The Day before",and after buzzling around in their discussion hub i found out a guy was asking if a program that was in the game before (A spyware called Red-shell) was still inside the game and the developer confirmed it was removed.

After a quick search on the internet to be sure about it i found A HUGE REDDIT POST that listed like tons of games TONS OF THEM that had this software in them,and i am talking even big games Civilization 6, Injustice 2, Warhammer:Vermintide 2, these games had this thing then it got removed cause of public backlash.
The list was dated 2018, now it's 2021 and i wonder how many other games have this thing since sometimes it's hard to find out, since the name of this software sometimes it's changed in the files pages or sometimes it's even built inside the game itself apparently.
What's up with all that ?

Here is a list of the games that used and then removed or pledged to remove this type of software (maybe some of these games had this software only on the client or in other parts, i haven't checked all the links so i don't know how was the implementation of the software in this game): Elder scrolls Online,Conan Exiles,Ylans, Holy potato weapon shop, All Total War games (only used it in the client from what i have read in the reddit discussion) Warhammer Vermintide 2, My Time at Portia, Dead by Daylight,Battlerite,Aeor Memories of old,Magic the Gatherin Arena ( not on steam tho) Secret Worlds Legends,Hunt Showdown,Escapist 2, Omensight, Ballistic Overkill ( from what i know developers said that this software was never in-use maybe) Vaporum,Tales from Candlekeep: Tomb of Annhilation,Yoku's island Express, Clone drone in the danger zone, The Wild Eight, Desolate, Trailmakers,, Raging justice, Dungeon Rushers,, Indygo, Kerbal Space Program, Quake champions ( no redshell files was integrated into the game, from what i read) NosTale, Soul Worker, Rock Shot,Archangel: Hellfire, Skyworld, Eternal Card game, Survived By, Doodle God, Doodle God Blitz, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, The House of Da Vinci, Warhammer 40k Eternal Crusade,Labyrinth, Civilization VI.

These are the games that used and removed redshell or pledged to remove it ( althought i am not sure how the software itself was implemented in the game)

Shouldn't stuff like this be put like in the shop page,with like a banner, from the start like it is for with games that have for example DRM-DENUOVO ?
Like for example wouldn't it be better if developers had to put every program or software that comes within the game in the store page with a banner ?
Sometimes these stuff is added in ways so cheesy apparently that is hard to find them at first glance,maybe there is no evil behind it but the lack of transperency make it question all of it from the start,and to be honest stuff like this is a no-no from me on the start.
What you think,should developers add a section on the shop list of their gameof every program and software that comes within the game ?

Well the post actually was at least for some of the games i know, but also the post had links that were attached to post made from the developers themself were like with patch notes, there was written that the software was then removed ( i checked only the wild eight link, but still the source seemed very reliable).
Also is no news that Warhammer Vermintide 2 had that program, since if i remember correctly i saw reviews in the past that were talking about that software.

And these are only two of the games of the list of games i found that removed red shell, and as of 2018 some game still had it,maybe then they removed that software but the question is: how many games uses this software or similiar software in 2021 ? ( since the reddit post is dated like 3 years)
Maybe a developer or someone that knows more about software and programs knows more than me if this stuff is safe or not.

Tales of the Candlekeep doesn't have Red Shell in it anymore, got removed somewhere in 2018.

Yhea maybe it's a game that removed it, i didn't check all of them but i know that most of the games listed removed it or pledged to remove it.
But i was more wondering how many games that came out recently use this type of software, is it already known that they use those software or it's something that it's only later or at some point found out ?
That's why i was thinking that maybe developers should write on the store page all type of programss that come withing a game from the start.

I'd like for there to be more transparency regarding this for sure. I do wonder how much that would actually matter, though. Would steam and other stores put it somewhere noticeable, thus making less sales? Or would it be at the bottom of the page. Would different stores do it differently? I'd honestly bet that at this moment redshell is used in less programs, and now theres a new hot ticket one we don't know about in some games.

Red Shell isn't Spyware. It's just a third party telemetry programme. Every major game comes with one. Unity even offers it within its engine.

Yes. Just like any other telemetry or analytics tool.

Personally, I would like to see this matter investigated further and that companies reveal whether or not they have this program in their games, the consumer should know and has every right to know, but it turns out that people do not care, I have I've seen and talked to several and they say they don't care if their data is recorded because they don't have important things like nuclear secrets, personally I would dedicate myself to see what games have or don't have RedShell but I don't know how and I don't have the money to buy them.
