If that doesn't work, then try going to your steam installation and deleting everything except the steamapps folder (where your games reside) and the steam.exe.
Then run steam.exe and ity will reacquire all the relevant files. If that doesnt fix it still, pleas epost some more infor like your systems specs.
Maybe is my machine too slow? But I can't believe it demands so much power from the cpu?
Well, if you post your system specs we can have a look.
But there are occasional bugs which may make it run slow too, so we need to work out what the issue is here by ruling out your system.
