Seems like a lot of these font threads are people using 100% scaling on large monitors.
150% scaling on a 27-inch display in 4K seems fine here.
On the positive side, I'm only using the client for two things:
a) launching games
b) redeeming keys
No walls of text needed for these things.
I run my laptop into my bedside TV all the time, and in 1080p it's a royal pain in the arse unless I set windows scaling right and even then it can have hiccups.
Most of the time I just keep the desktop in 720 natively and it keeps things readable all round. I am lazy though.
