You were even FORCED to wait to have time to write down the recovery code when you set up the authenticator.
All cooldowns can not be shortened, removed or circumvented once triggered.
Honestly, you don't "just" get logged out "because" and your comment that nothing happened is proof that you didn't got taken over also doesn't hold: sometimes people wait for years to strike.

What does that tell you?
Note this is not the vicious come back you are thinking it is.
Again steam gives you multiple ways to recover your account. You losing literally all of them is your own fault, not steam's
Lets also ignore the fact that being forced to log out of all your accounts is likely a symptom of an accoutn hijack.
first of all, that wasn't a "comeback", that was me stating that It has been so long since I first and only had to ever check the backup code, which is only meant to be used as a last resort. My point here is that I never lost any of my login codes, rather that steam just completely forgot all of my devices, which shouldn't be possible. When you sign out of your mobile on steam, it is supposed to give you a code at the bottom for the mobile authenticator, which didn't show. I am aware that I should have kept my back-up code, but this is a literal bug that I experienced forcing me to reset my mobile auth when I don't have my backup code. Steam may give me multiple ways to recover my account, but most of them are just loop-holes or absolute customer service nightmares. What's funny is that this isn't half as bad as blizzard, lol.
