On that date all the event cards will be removed and you can no longer get them. You can still craft the badge after that date if you have all the cards in the set, but other than that, the cards will be gone.

That means the event trading cards are valid until February 6th. Then they will expire and can no longer be sold or traded.

Get the last card you need to craft the badge and you can craft it at anytime you want, even after it expires.

I don't think they vanish IIRC. They just become non-tradable and not-marketable. I remember finding a lost event card in my inventory long after a sale and the only thing I could do with it was turn it into gems.

I doubt they disappear. I still have steam summer sale cards from the first event after cards were introduced.

Those have always been tradable and marketable since the event. The only ones that have.
