worried about my account
so here it is,my current currency in steam wallet is set to Russian ruble and i currently live in my homeland country. I didnt change my store region yet and i just redeemed RM30 to my steam wallet which converted in russian ruble. And i notice that my RM30 automatically added to steam wallet and converted to russian ruble. I also did purchase a game using russian currency even i didnt live there anymore and it work just fine.

i just wonder did i do something illegal.

If your using the Russian store and you don't actually live there then you are violating the rules and your account can be shut down. Your store region should be set to where you live, anything else can potentially result in you having your account terminated.

Did you "live" in Russia when you were purchasing cheap Steam games and then stop "living" there afterwards? Heck, you posted in one game forum asking for help with the game that you cracked/pirated and then suddenly and recently, you purchased a number of games, including the game you were pirating...from Russia. And now, you don't live in Russia anymore. Really subtle.

You posted in the Mortal Kombat X forum and openly stated that you were "testing" the cracked version.

Just 3 weeks! And it shows you`re willing to pirate Steam games, that alone is a very bad idea.

And it just kills your reputation.

Hey sorry, I recommend you guys stop talking about piracy, it's not really the topic here, and I think you know the tolerance for that subject on the forums is really low

Just one hint, Valve can terminate your account because of this.

There is a refund system on Steam, no need to pirate games, just to see if they run on your machine.

Wow this excuse......
2 hours not enough bruh. There is still many things to witness not just see my machine can get to main menu lel. well when i still in high school i have too many pirated games and i use this account for 4 years. Still fine. Now i have a part time job i can buy game on my own. Like i said i admit pirating is wrong and i now stop doing that unless for testing. Hope you understand that i have other need than buying games and find out wasting my money because its run like crap even i exceed recommended requirement

2 hours are enough, its just another excuse from you. Like i said, Valve can and will terminate accounts that are breaking the rules.

Your post history is publc, i suggest you just stop pirating games, or at least you`re clever enough to not share it on the forums.

That was just a few weeks ago as was already pointed out. That's not long ago. And now you have a legit copy after suddenly "moving" to Russia and then moving back.

To answer your question, what you're doing is not "illegal" but it does violate the Valve/Steam terms of service and is grounds for banning your account. You weren't "moving" from Russia to Malaysia.
