Got banned for nothing?

The post i make here, got me banned.

Can someone far more clever, than i am please explain, how this is "Abuse or encourage abuse of the Post Reporting System."

Pretty sure, i am the victim of Mod abuse.

How do i fix this?

Not a fan of a 7-8 day ban, over mod abuse.

I have yet to break any of these rules.

(As per answer below, i assume, at least till i get an answer via my ticket, that its just a Weird Whim.)

"Abuse or encourage abuse of the Post Reporting System." was the ban reason, targeted, at that post.

"No mod needed" i assume, it was due to it looking like i was saying "No, We need a moderator here"
Though, you would have to seriously Reach for that...

As for spam, its just a conversation, i Quote something i agree with, and then agree/disagree with it, etc. just like anyone else.

If i am not allowed to do that, then it should have further clarification in the rules.

I do try, to take each Warning/Ban to heart, and learn from them, though this particular issue, has no information, nor does it have any potential for learning.
(i have had my account for many years, and have been warned/banned only a total of a handful of times.)

I'll just wait on the ticket, thank you for all of your Help.

So maybe they were friends, as they are still posting on their second account..

Though i am sure, someone may find issue with some of the things, i post.
That isn't why this post, was selected, nor the context of the ban for which i received.

I was just looking for help understanding why this particular ban happened, for this particular response.

I can't find anything in the Rules, about talking about "Mature" topics, in a "Mature" game.

A game having sexual content, doesn't automatically mean that you're greenlit to talk about "fiddling with your joystick" in the Steam forums. I also notice that you had no refutation for the ban message stating that you were abusing the forum report function, so it sounds a lot like you were probably abusing the report function.

I reported a single users posts, as they were literally spamming the forums, and they were bypassing a Ban.

i provided clear evidence, and etc.

The only way that i was "Abusing" anything, would be if the moderator in question didn't actually do their job.

Plus, if i was to have done that, they would have had to explain what i was doing wrong, in their ambiguous post.

They did not, so i am stuck here, assuming it has some weird connection to that particular post... which is ridiculous, as i wasn't trying to hype folks into abusing the report function.

Nope, the mods often repeat this - your prior conduct ALWAYS goes into the basis for consideration.


You basically have TWO options only:
(1) Suck it up and change your ways. Doesn't matter whether you agree with them or not. JUst learn to avoid the pitfalls, because railing aginst them won't end well for you.
(2) Contact a Steam mod and ask them about this. You always have the right of appeal, but be aware that their findings will be final

As per previous posters, i was more or less, accepting that i would have to wait on a Ticket, as no one seemed to know, exactly what it was due to, specifically with the context to account for.

So im waiting on that.

I'm only responding to you, to the best of my ability, as it is rude, to ignore folks asking you questions.

Though i would like to know, in a purely clinical Manner, what a Fee fee, is....
