I agree with this 100%. I also need to say that we gamers are also total hypocrites to boot at best. We cry fool towards bad business practices in the games industry... e.g EA's loot boxes and call for boycotts towards them but at the same time we keep quite abouts valves loot boxes in their games because we love valve.
Another thing we gamers talk about is our morals, values and principles but these values and principles soon disappear as soon as these so called principles starts interfering with our own lives and enjoyment, this isn't solely resevered only for gaming but also in real life in general.
I go a step further: I play games. If it happens to be released on a console, I buy it on there.
Same. I play on PC (Powerful Console)
What makes you think the people moaning about those things are actually a majority? I think you vastly underestimate the amount of people who simply don't give a ♥♥♥♥.
I hear that price was a mistake and not intended.

Just saying, since you seem to be using it as an example for Ubisoft over Steam.
As for the question of the OP, no. I bought The Division 2 WONY Ultimate edition when it was on sale with the free weekend, to play with a friend. But most of my games are tied to Steam.
Pricing errors happen on Steam, too..
If its so easy, can you tell what to insert in the skin text so we have the list view back? Without this big empty square?
You, know the
Good that you came by.
Spending buying games and using the community market, or in your other words, "ever spending a penny again on steam", perhaps barring their improving their service. Been doing it since the new UI launched last year.
Also haven't been playing games on Steam (or logging into Steam) as much as I used to.
The old skins don't work anymore, and third party launchers still require Steam to be open to play (perhaps not all but still many) Steam games.
Procrastination is a hell of a drug.
Game key for the Castlevania Anniversary Collection, bought on Humble Store. Which, incidentally, I might just end up playing by other means anyway, since I've now paid for it.
FYI, I know I haven't spent any money on Steam, because Steam is now telling me I can't participate in the Community Market since I have no purchase that is between 7 days and 1 year ago.
Frankly, that's probably the best approach. Don't get too invested in any one platform.
Of course, platforms want you to get invested, but lol.
Same headache i get when opening epic.
But without a reason i wont choose to buy on steam. I did not like that attitude of ignoring. Its each time an intentional choice to buy somewhere else.
I sort of love the 'boycott' where you don't actually boycott the platform. aka its the "i dont ACTUALLY want to anything meaningful so I'm going to pretend this bare minimum thing I can do that is actually not that inconvenient for me"
If you think you're 'boycotting' steam by not buying on steam but activating your games and using the forums, guess what, you played yourself.
