The profile picture ban message seems to lack an end date for several months now. At least that's what I gathered from the forums.
The ban system does not work the way you describe it. It's based on severeness of the infraction and takes previous bans into account. You can get a permanent ban on your very first offense as well as several dozens of warnings if they suffice.
Sorry, but I think I had already went through this discussion with other people.
I had this reply from Steam Support https://imgur.com/a/YzemdZT
And my 5th ban was a complete joke designed solely to push me into the 5 bans threshold.
If you have any evidence to reinforce your point - feel free to share them. But I'm afraid, your "severness" has another role - my fifth ban was a week-long (as applied to the hub) one and was issued over "spam". It looks escpecially weird taking into account that all my previous bans were issued over "offensive content" and it's interpretations and all but the 4th were issued with lesser suspension.
That's probably it. Those "reasons" are completely user-defined, but "severness" goes up with the sheer number. That would be my claim based on the personal experience.
Note you keep breaking the forum rules which is why you keep getting bans. You got a community ban because you have SO MANY bans from SO MANY different game hubs it triggers an automatic community ban
It’s hilarious your “proof” shows that you are a toxic individual, which was confirmed by multiple independent moderators who all upheld your bans.
But yeah of course it’s “the moderators” and “the rules” right?
Those who complain about moderation usually need it the most.
There are several people on the forums with more than three bans to their name. Neither of them was ever community banned.
Scammers and impersonators get CB'd the very first time.
Toxic trolls like IU get community banned when they get banned from multiple game hubs in a short amount of time. It is both an anti spam and anti troll mechanism. It’s not the total number of bans, it’s getting a bunch of them within a day or 2
i got banned for double the intended period :(
8 weeks is two months though...
No, Satoru-chan. You are keeping assuming things, as usual. I can bring more sreenshots, but those don't really make Supermod happy, and I don't see any merit in convincing you by any means.
So, it's 5 bans within 2 months. The last one was made over a weak from the last one, was completely wiredrawn and, for once, was canceled, by re-enacted later (without me even knowing this because all of the Covid-ongoing stuff). Feel free to question me furthermore, but it's not going to make you, me or mods happier.
Ffs your screenshots show what you did. It shows support confirming it.
Your are a toxic troll that got a community ban because you accumulate so many bans from multiple independent moderators.
When multiple independent observers come to the same conclusion the issue is not the moderators
It’s YOU
Having a SINGLE ban is usually enough to cause a user to think to themselves, "hey, maybe I should quit that, because that is something I want to avoid happening again".
Not, "omg I need to start a collection! I wonder which mod will ban me this time! so I can complain about THEM too!"
It's *definitely not the moderation staff* in this case. it's very, very clearly YOU.
