Is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl considered "unpopular"? I played so many hours of it -- modded and vanilla. Some of the best ballistics to this day, huge variety of guns, atmospheric maps, and genuinely suspenseful. Even after multiple play-throughs I always got tense when I heard the high-frequency cut-in from a Controller.
Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis was an experience in its day -- it'll be quite dated, of course. Again, not sure if it was "unpopular" but it's certainly not as prominent as Half-Life or Unreal or Call of Duty.
I should say not well know=popularity. It's one of my favourites.
Agreed, CS was a little too linear compared to Soc and Cop, but it's not too bad. I have all three as well hardcopies and played quite a few mods on the first and 3rd played alot of OBL3.1 etc
Looking forward to Stalker 2.
It's on sale now for $4.99 which is about right.
Deep Rock Galactic is my favorite game of 2019 and 2020.
