Can u earn xp in non-prime (while have prime activated)

If u have prime account
And turn on non-prime
Then u can't earn competitive, wingman and danger zone rank
But can u get xp then?
Do you still get xp if have prime but playing on non-prime match???

at the time of asking this question (3 years ago) the answer was yes,
but now, in 2024, I've seen quite a lot of people reporting that currently Prime players do not get any XP from playing non-prime matches.
