To redeem or to not redeem the Gold frame...?

I got over 5k points now and as I was contemplating to redeem it I saw that a new animated avatar frame was added. Now I wonder how often will Steam be adding new animated stuff. I just don't wanna waste 5k on something that will last only a month and 10 days later something permanent and really cool is added. What do you guys think?

If you not so sure on the golden profile I think wait, you can always get it later, and there likely to be more stuff coming

Depends on you. I prefer something that are permanent so i can switch to other style at anytime i want. It's your money after all. If that make you happy, go for it. Be wise and know your need.

I got it already. It turns out I had to buy a few more things on Steam and that rendered me some more points to be comfortable with spending 5k on a temporary thing.

but the problem is, you have to wait ~ 3-5 days and after those 3-5 you can re-buy it again ;D
