Linking purchase from EA Origin to Steam?
So I already purchased the Sims 4 and multiple DLC packs on my Mac Book a few years ago.

I have a new laptop now and I want to launch the Sims using the Steam Client rather than having to re download the Origin Client.

Is there anyway to link my Steam and Origin accounts so that I can download the Sims on my new laptop via stream ?

No, you bought a license for the origin platform.

Best thing you can do is add the shortcut to steam so you can launch the game from steam if that possible altough i never see the benefit from that.

Nope. You can not transfer games from one service to another.

Even if you could, then the Steam version may still require Origin. I think Sims 4 is one of them.

@both, alright well thanks for getting back to me.

Just wanted to avoid clutter of having a Client I never use (other than for the Sims 4) but not to worry.

I'll just re-download Origin and run it from there.
