Steam emoticons keep breaking

Every single day more and more of my massive collection of Steam emoticons are breaking and it's getting extremely frustrating. Some examples are:

Valve, fix your sh!t. Especially when it costs actual money for these emoticons.

(yes I am aware that you can buy emoticons with points but that still costs money because 1. you need to own the game and play it for 2 hours to get the emoticons in exchange for points, and 2. you can only get Steam points by spending money.)

Oddly enough, I see them on the mobile app but not the client.

Funnily enough for me, it's doing the toggle again. The post of you saying it's broken is working for me. The person responding to that post is shows as broken, as your follow up shows up fine.

Actually, I'm kind of getting to like it, as I find it stupidly entertaining to see which emojis are working today every time I look at this thread and a few others.

I'm easily pleased, I guess.

Today's result: All broken on this thread except for Hotsauce's two emojis on this page.

We should turn this into some sort of weird bingo like game.

Like I said in a different thread. Today, in Chrome they all are working for me. In the client, about 15% of my own don't work and half the ones in the various threads don't work as well.

Hey perhaps it's the new metagame for the next sale? Now THAT'D be a thing.

Each £1 spent on the store gets you a bingo card containing lists of steam service that are featured. Each time one breaks, you cross it off. A full card entitles you to claim a prize .... asuming THAT part of Steam is also up and running so you can claim it ;)
