Can you move origin games to steam??
Now that we have most of EA games here on steam i'd like to know if there's a way to transfer my games on origins on steam, i don't like origin launcher and i have 6 games, (mass effect trilogy and dragon age trilogy) does anyone know how to move the keys from origin to steam??

if you want full steam functions buy them again here

if you just want play & already have them installed add the games as non-steam game

anyway remember non-steam / steam EA games still need a origin account for access the service :lunar2020halodragon:

There is an executive at EA who thinks shopping carts are ♥♥♥♥. They show up occasionally during a sale.

I have absolutely no links, but it's plain to read on Answers HQ.

I keep hoping the C&C collection will take a dip over there, but it's currently $20. I'd pay $15, but it's not like they're courting me.

My bank called, that was interesting, but somewhat heartwarming. The agent said that the lack of a shopping cart was "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid" then apologized for swearing..

Oh shoot, I thought Epic was the one getting flack from people (including me) for not having a shopping cart.

Shows how little I buy from Origin directly (I've bought Origin games from Amazon, for instance).
At least EA (as bad as they are) they are not buying exclusivity...

You're kidding right? ME3 was origin only, and Mass effect fans didn't exactly THANK Bioware for that ending.

EA's "Return" to steam is in name only. When I said they essentially put empty boxes on the shelf over here on Steam, I'm not making a joke.

They really are in all but name though.

The games on here STILL have to be played on Origin. It's nothing more than a link for much of their games, so that's pretty much as exclusive as you can get.

Exactly. Empty box on a shelf.

Hmm, C&C Collection (not the remastered one) was the thing where I mentioned I bought from Amazon instead of on Origin. It was on a $5 sale years back.

Yeah I know... and that sucks :(. But at least they are on Steam. I wish I knew that before owning some games on Origin.

The oddest part of it is that they tie your Steam account to your Origin account. You can't buy a game on Steam and link it a different Origin. I think it is weird. You know I have games here, just link them up stop the act.

Example:

I already had Sims 4 on Origin. The price was cheap so I bought it here... just so EA would put in my steam library for $7.50.

The link is done on the other end. Only one 3rd party account can be linked to a single Steam account. EA can easily do this but won't. Valve has zero say in the matter.

If I have the game on Origin and it's listed here... just link them and allow it to show in my library.

Ask EA to do this.

No, just do it. Someone make it happen. This is the only time or place I'm saying it. Do it.

EA must do it. Ask on their forums.

No you have it the wrong way round.

Only the owners of the IP can do anything - and that's EA.
