I have absolutely no links, but it's plain to read on Answers HQ.
I keep hoping the C&C collection will take a dip over there, but it's currently $20. I'd pay $15, but it's not like they're courting me.
EA's "Return" to steam is in name only. When I said they essentially put empty boxes on the shelf over here on Steam, I'm not making a joke.
The games on here STILL have to be played on Origin. It's nothing more than a link for much of their games, so that's pretty much as exclusive as you can get.
Hmm, C&C Collection (not the remastered one) was the thing where I mentioned I bought from Amazon instead of on Origin. It was on a $5 sale years back.
Yeah I know... and that sucks :(. But at least they are on Steam. I wish I knew that before owning some games on Origin.
Example:
I already had Sims 4 on Origin. The price was cheap so I bought it here... just so EA would put in my steam library for $7.50.
The link is done on the other end. Only one 3rd party account can be linked to a single Steam account. EA can easily do this but won't. Valve has zero say in the matter.
Ask EA to do this.
EA must do it. Ask on their forums.
No you have it the wrong way round.
Only the owners of the IP can do anything - and that's EA.
