Games with good progression?

Hey folks,
I've been searching high and low now for something to quench my thirst for a good "power progression" game but I just can't seem to find it thus I am asking you guys to help me out a bit.
Do you know of any such games out there worth playing?

Some more info:
With "power progression" I mean your character getting stronger be it through skill trees, passives, gear, weapon unlock whatever it may be to enchance yourself.

Obviously I want games on the PC despite owning a phone (some will get this joke)

Don't care about graphics at all.

Games I have played in this category and liked would be:
Dark Souls series
Diablo 2 / Grim Dawn / Path of Exile
Lords of the Fallen
Salt and Sanctuary
Borderlands Series
Witcher series
Elder Scrolls series
Evil Within 2
Tomb Raider reboots
DMC series

Currently got my eyes on Nioh but unsure due to it looking like a D2+DS frankenstein monster as well as The Surge catching my eyes but seems to have had a poor reception.

As you can see most of these games are all over the place, everything from ARPGs to FPS games but they all have a common thread of "power progression".

So dear community, do you know of a hidden gem that I might have missed? =P

I have no idea how i missed the fact there is a sequel when I really liked the first one.
The shame *facepalm*

Looks too much like a korean mmo type of grind aswell as alot of the reviews stating it's a very bad pc port. I will look a bit more into it though since that was just my first impressions glancing over it =P

This game is perfect for what you're looking for, and has fantastic gameplay in my opinion. I also think you would indeed enjoy Nioh going off your list here.
