Report a translation problem
And tell the kids to stay out of the chat rooms.
Those that want the chat to remain just a chat keep what was once, just a chat window. And those that want all the silly gifs / emotes / etc can turn it on if required.
A simple solution to a problem that has grown out of control.
2. Enable Family View for his account.
If this is something that's happening within the chat room of a game, then there's nothing Steam can do about it, and the game makers/admins are responsible for enforcing their own rules.

Also, "kids" - if they're YOUR kids, YOU are responsible for where they are. No one else's kids are your responsibility directly.
