Why Banned for Iranians?
Hello guys I have 2 questions.
1)Why redeeming a code is banned for Iranians?
(However steam allows Iranians to play games that they have bought)
2)Why other gaming clients like origin and uplay and epic games banned Iranians totally (Iranians can't even open the app or website) but steam hasn't?
Will steam ban Iranians in the future or not?

1) If the Code is for a different region and is locked out of Iran, then you won't be able to activate that code. There can be a number of reasons why there are different codes for Iran vs other countries, for example price difference so it is region locked, or there is a censored version of the game that makes it legal in Iran and your code is for the uncensored version.

2) Other gaming clients probably don't want to deal with Iranian laws.

What if the code is globall region?

What is the game or program are you trying to activate?

What if the code is globall region?

If the game is supposed to be censored in your region, it being Global Region game won't matter, it'll still be locked for you.

US companies have severe restirctions on trade and business in Iran. It pretty much boils down to not doing any business with Iran at all.
