Can't remove certain games from account

As the tittle says, there are certain trash games I got that I want to get rid of yet, they don't show up when searched in Steam Support
Any workaround or what?

Encounter? I can see them being in my library, dead games no longer on store. Tried searching them by name in Support tab in order to remove. They don't show up there and I can't just simply browse through the library there, I "have" to search them. This is the only way of removing games that I know of.

Seems... like the right thing to do. Depending on the game, you might not be ABLE to remove it - some Valve products, for instance, will linger in your account forever. Hide them, move on.

from what i understand you cant remove FREE games from your account i could be wrong but thats what iv noticed

What? I've removed a handful of demo horror games and the like

They can be removed by going to your account, and going to view licenses and product key activations. you can remove games that way.

FWI, I click on "Help" at the top left of screen, click on "Steam Support" and then enter the name in the search bar at the bottom and then click until there is an option to "permanently remove game from my account".

Actually, Narcissistic Cannibal, this method DOES work. Looks like you didn't read their answer right. The person who asked the question said they couldn't find the game when searching for it in support, but it's still visible in their library.

SO, clicking on the game in the library, then clicking the support button on the game page IN YOUR LIBRARY, then finally clicking "I want to permanently remove this game from my account." ACTUALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WORKS.

If you haven't tried it, don't reply saying it won't work and that it isn't what the OP asked for, becaue it IS INDEED THE SOLUTION for the OP's problem.


If anyone else stumbles upon this with the same problem, do what Orion69North said and don't listen to Narcissistic Cannibal.
