Help Finding Games for Kids?
Hi,
I'm trying to find some games for my niece to play. She is 6 years old. She has a tablet and I'm trying to get her focused on games that aren't filled with ads/ mirco transactions and might have educational elements to them.

I already have the Freddi Fish, Putt Putt, Pajama Sam and the Spy Fox games. She really enjoys Freddi Fish.

Was hoping to find something educational but I'm having no such luck.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well, not so much a "game" but if you haven't gone to such sites as Doll Divine or Azalea's Dolls, you might enjoy looking through those for art and dressup games, as well as basic freebies on some of the fringe sites (many Korean and non-English sites have quite a few flash and html5 games, though you'd want to look through them first to make sure they're safe). Never forget that art is part of learning :D

PopCap Games devs/pubs a lot of kid friendly games. One popular one is Peggle Deluxe.

Check out their party pack for a few other titles that are fun to play.

That is not really accurate. There are games without that tag what young kids can enjoy as well.

The holy trinity of Tetris, Columns and Puyo Puyo.
Maybe not educational, but there's nothing better for developing motor skills and visual acuity and reflexes.

Do you know how to run dosbox on tablets?
The original Carmen Sandiego series still holds up, though kids these days can just cheat with google instead of looking things up in the included Almanac.
The Muncher series.
The Super Solvers classics.
Math Blaster.
The Secret Island of Dr. Quandary is still a top favorite of mine, and is able to give adults a challenge with some bits. And the humor and in-jokes are top-notch. I never got the Edmund Hillary pun until I was almost 30.
Minecraft, either the classroom edition or the Raspberry Pi edition is very educational.

If you're religious, Captain Bible in Dome of Darkness has won praise for being gloriously cheesy, but still having decent gameplay and fulfilling the underlining purpose of helping kids memorize scripture.

Wait, why the hell is "Muncher" censored?

Winnie The Pooh: Kindergarten perhaps? It is educational after all I guess.

Human Fall Flat, Injustice, Doraemon Story of Seasons, Stardew Valley, Minecraft, every Disney classic game, every Popcap game and if you are desperate: Fortnite

probably depends on the kid but fighting games for a 6year old seems a little early, plus its probably pretty hard to play those on a tablet?
