Why is it so hard to find your list of followed games?
Nothing is more annoying than seeing an update pop up from one of your followed games, not clicking it fast enough, or being AFK, only for that crap to be lost to the ether.

That feature should be front an center. If anything, having a list of updates from your followed game popup when you first open steam, maybe alongside the ads you usually show, would get me to actually notice the ads instead of closing them in seconds.

What the heck are you talking about?

Go to your profile (click the icon in the upper right corner), then select 'games' and finally click the 'followed' tab. Couldn't be easier and more logical than that in my opinion.

If you want to check all updates simply go to the website, find your name in the menu and then open the 'activity' section. This isn't only restricted to game news but... it's a good overview.

And any other news can also be found in the individual game sections in the Steam client (your library).

Sorry but I fail to understand how Steam could have made this any easier. Pushing all that stuff in your face? I think there would be a lot more complaints if they did that, I don't need more unwanted spam in my life.

Yes, how could steam make it easier than hiding the list 3 clicks deep, categorize it under "profile," and make you entirely leave the steam app to view something like the activity for your followed game. Yep, no illogical crap there. /s

Let me take it down to 2 clicks then...

Steam store, hover over "Your Store" and click "Followed Games & Software."

Well, I can't conclude otherwise that you're either trolling or clueless because it seems you never bothered to give this a try... It's also peculiar how this went from "finding the list of followed games" to "clicking too much and having to leave the app".

Alas... You don't have to leave the Steam app to check up on any followed games. Either select the specific game in your library or hover to the menu item with your Steam name and then select the "Activity" option, done. Either option is 1 click without need to leave the Steam app.

And once in the store (also accessible through said Steam app) you can use Hotsauce's suggestion again.

i also find it annoying to find the Followed game list, OP. So don't worry it's not just you.
i know all the trick steps.. but it would be nice if like WISHLIST you could get to your Followed list from one of the top menus:

Store - Library - Community - Display Name

Under "Store" could be:

Featured - Explore - Curators - Wishlist - FOLLOWED - News - Stats

Or they could have it so from your Wishlist page you could easily jump to your Followed list page. Would be nice if Followed list page showed prices too... but that may be asking for too much :P

The thread was never "hey, tell me where to find this thing." It was complaining about the ♥♥♥♥ being buried and hidden away instead of being front and center, especially the news on them. So if anyone is trolling, it is you.

When the Wishlist was updated and the tabs at the top of that page were removed, people complained all over the forums. After years of complaining, they have yet to make it easier than it is now.

With more updates still on the way, I bet the Recently Played, All Games, Followed and Reviews tabs will be linked again with the Wishlist.
