It seem they have a store page already.
Sometimes exclusivity does not work. Metro Exodus (standard) retailed for £49.99 (uk) on Epic yet when it released on Steam it was on sale for £34.99 which was also the sale price on Epic.
Ubisoft will not write off Steam as those that will not buy on Epic or uplay will pay for it on Steam and Ubisoft gets revenue.
Add in any of the Ubisoft titles as well for £10 off each at the moment.
Far Cry 4 GOTY for for £4.99? Go on, argue against that.
This will be interesting as they will.
It is all a matter of opinion, regardless. People can't argue opinion.
As above.
Personally, I stopped Far Cry after FC3. FC4 is the same thing as 3 and got boring rather quickly for me.
Ubisoft's games have become more of rinse and repeat, not to mention all the microtransaction, so I stopped buying their stuff too.
You can get a AAA game - that you rightly say is similar to 3 but still more than playable - for less than £5.
Yet that isn't good enough.
Nor I am sure clicking get game to get GTA V for free, as it is so much effort.
Did you do the spring clean event? You got a badge for installing and instauninstalling 5(?) games some of which were X gig.
It was so onerous I did it over three days and got something you can't even do anything with.
Just 4 fun, I do like my profile, but it really doesn't mean anything.
The only thing that binds me to Steam are a) 1000 games, b) achievements.
Give me FC4 for £4.99 and I will buy it from you. Or I could exercise my loyalty and buy it for £49.99.
If your ideology makes you pay 10 x something then more fool you. It Is the same product.
Although that doesn't apply to places like Amazon, Sports Direct, etc. who simply don't pay their staff so you pocket the discount and where you should have some ethics and pony up a bit more from a decent retailer.
Game devs/pubs set the prices for their title on Steam, not Valve.
Playable doesn't mean it is worth it. AAA doesn't mean good value or qality, only published by a major developer.
I've never like the GTA games, so of course I am not interested in getting it.
If your standard is simply cheap and "AAA", then you are free too it. I buy games I will play and enjoy as I see no point in buying for any other reason.
I hardly do any event as I don't care about them, but many others seem to.
So again, you can' really argue opinion.
Good Lord, they will defend anything.
It was based on a random algorithm that chose from your game library, friends recommend chose 2 gig, 6 gig and 22 gig.
Go on, make something up to make it out that it was me and not Steam.
Go on, make something up that I could have chosen a 30kb game and chose to download gigs.
These forums are like a Trump rally.
No strings, nothing dodgy, just free to keep forever for one click.
Nah, too much work. Could you press get game for me?
If I am not interested in it or don't feel I will play it, why would I? I don't get games just to have games. I get games that I want and feel I will enjoy, in order to play them. They are not a "badge of honor" for me.
You experience may differ from another's, just as your opinion does.
Going to leave you to it as I can only surmise you live under a bridge, have warty green skin and carry a club.
And, funnily enough, seems you're a Steam moderator. Not that there would likely be a bias at all.
Like I said, these forums are like a Trump rally.
Again, you can't argue opinion.
I also maintain a free games thread, where I post Epic games and other 3rd party titles. Doesn't mean I get them myself.
Free games on Steam I allow on my profile as the thread I maintain does not allow for free games directly from Steam, since those are often announced in the News section on Steam.
But insults do take from your own credibility, so I suggest finding a better way to argue your point, instead of making personal attacks.
I'm a volunteer moderator, yes. I am simply voicing my own opinion though, but you are allowed your own opinion the matter.
If you review my post, you can see that I have not made any post for or against Epic, but have simply stressed that that people will simply have different opinions on the matter and those may be based on one's own experiences.
