Hey Guys, I wonder that if anyone here has this problem ?

I am eligible for booster pack i have always been, but almost for one year, I haven't gotten any booster pack even popular games' boooster packs not dropped.

Note: My level is 104 so my booster pack lucky is high as well.

is there anyone with a solution or smthng else ?

Yes, I am aware that a booster pack is created when someone else crafts a badge. But the "problem" is Steam has millions of users and based on my estimations, thousands or it might be millions, I am not sure about this, craft a badge everyday. Let's for argument's sake, say that there are 1,000 booster packs created for one of your games. You are at your current level. You are currently receive one of them every 28 hours.

So what does an increase in the next 10 levels give you? let's say for arguemtn's sake it's something worthwhile like a 50% increase in chance.

THat does not equate to what you claim.

All that gives you is more of a CHANCE. The SAME amount of booster packs are being created, and when you're already on a high level, the chances aren't likely to help you if there's still only 100 being created and you are simply getting most of the drops from the games creating them.

Or as per the example, out of those 1000 packs created you may still be one every 28 hours. If you're first or high n "the list" then you aren't going to notice a great increase.

That's the point.

Your rate goes up, but that does NOT mean you get a guaranteed increase.

And in any case, more importantly, you CANNOT calculate this as you have no idea of the pool involved. You are currently getting one every 28 hours or so, but as I said, you are trying to make a calculation based on variables you cannot possibly know.

So even if it does go up, you CANNOT know if it is purely because of the level increase. And as I said, it may start tailing off now because of the time of year.

Thank you so much for your detailed explanation. Now I have a rough idea (not perfect idea though) on how this works. On a side note, when I reach level 560, (it could take a few months) I will report my findings here for the benefit of steam users and find out whether my drop rate increases to 27 hours instead of 28 hours which I am experiencing now. By all means, report what your findings are, but if there's one last thing to ask, please DO NOT just report a couple of instance, like one week, or a couple of weeks.

Make sure you take a good trend over a few months and report it, because that'd be far more accurate and would cancel out any blips that might tilt the results.

And you know what is the difference with those cheapo crap games? Many younger users with limited funds LOVE to buy them to get pools of cards. So OF COURSE you're going to get them drop more often because that's how it's supposed to work.

Cool, then demonstrate your evidence for it then.

Because all you've demonstrated from what you claimed is that how I described. That the pool is created by the people who play it.

You WILL get more of the cards for those games because that's correct based on the users.

So please do demonstrate how you are able to assess this with your evidence. Remember the burden of proof is on YOU so you will need to provide FAR better evidence than "this happens to me therefore it's rigged". You need to show HOW it's rigged.

I've been a Steam member for nearly 8 years. I'm now level 62. In that time I have had the grand total of 2 booster card drops.

Thanks. Once I reach Level 560, I will try to meticulously find out when my boosters arrive. But it would take some work because if it comes in the middle of the night (Singapore time), I will be sleeping and be unable to keep an accurate timing. This is my only concern, and besides I have to work 12 hours a day.

Maybe those level 4000+ monsters have taken all packs away, since they will almost have a 100% chance to get one, and they have spent over $100k to get the badge. I'm level 100 and not getting any.

As they are hard to get, I've bought the cheapest ones from market to make a collection showcase. I notice that many of the cheaper booster packs are from 2 player co-op games.
