Give these a try, best of luck.

Restart client, and check.

This will teach you more about your Steam library.

Otherwise, clear your cache, and cookies. Top left on client, click on "steam" Click on "Settings" click on "web broswer", also delete download cache that's under "Download". Then restart client.

steam is constantly removing games i had and registering absolutly random ones to my library. only explenation i got awhile back was the games were no longer available on steam and replaced with something of equivelent value.... ish....
edit: first time i noticed this was when dawn gate went under and i sudenly owned a copy of game of thrones....

Never
If games disappear from library view, contact support.

Make sure the visibility was set to show all and that the game is shown as owned on store page. That is obvious an existing problem then.

Ever bought games off 3rd party websites that aren't officially supported? You might have had a few games revoked, if so they where stolen keys.

Yeah, this requires evidence, because I've never heard of anything like this. Steam wouldn't remove a game then randomly replace it with something else without telling you. Can you imagine how pissed the devs of that game would be, as Valve have no right to do so.

It sounds like you've been buying keys from dodgy sites.

i JUST noticed this. i bought outlast in 2014 and loved it. but then moved on to a bunch of other games, when outlast 2 came out i bought it based on my experience with outalst one. but i hated outlast 2 bc it wasnt as much fun and ignored it for a long time. but recently i have been replaying old games and when i went to reinstall outlast i couldnt find it.

im going to check my emails for rcpts

EDIT: the only thing i can think of is that when i originally bought outlast i was playing on a mac. im on an alienware desktop now but that shouldnt matter right?

Good luck with your support ticket. I am sure you will get a positive outcome.

yes, half life 1, apparently I had it but somehow Valve determined that even though they gave it to me I "didn't own it". I also lost Counter strike condition Zero. I've played CS against people so I would imagine that steam should know but nope. ( I even showed support a picture of the CD next to a support ticket but still no help). I feel like I've lost others, but with around 400 games it's really hard to inventory. (also I took a long break from gaming and don't remember all of em)
