I don't consider their prices to be outrageous, to be honest.
They used to be €15-€20, yes. But Civ 6 has the full unlock on €22 (used to be €50) and the expansions still all are between €33 and €43 for the bigger ones.
I don't have a mobile (only a Kindle) so I haven't looked at the mobile stores in a while.
Seems they might acutally be learning then, so we can hope.
And tbh, in the german store, the (old) FF games are all (no matter which one) still 17-20 € for me
:(
Well, 2 is around 10 €.
There are two factors. First, "it depends which game you are looking at". FF 3 appears to be €13.
I'm not interested in old games, but 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8... they are all below €17. Maybe your definition of "old" is somewhat off? IX is the first "high" one at €21; it's not on my shopping list since it looks too old so I can agree with that one. X/X-2 is on my shopping list, and it's €25 -- not sure why they combined them, but there's a chance that it can be counted as two games. 12 gets really expensive at €50 for a single game, while the 3 pieces of 13 are at 13+16+16 etc.
Second, the interesting prices are the ones you get on sales. Final Fantasy doesn't usually go below 50%; so you can just halve the prices above.
Valve can't BRING anything. It's down to the IP holders to offer their games for sale. Not the other way round.
