Porn/nudity games on Steam.

To keep my thread simple.

Why are there 18+ porn games, nudity games on Steam?
Think about the kids here who click 'I'm 18+' when they're 13 or something.
This shouldn't be allowed in my opinion.

Why are there shooters or violent games in general on Steam? They are 16/18+ aswell.

Also, there a many ways to disable those games. Filtering ot out, family view, etc.

They click I'm 18+ intentionally; it is what they want. They could just as easily go to phub or similar instead anyway, so why censor Steam because you don't believe kids should view some content (that they can get elsewhere anyway)?

Because "13" is not a number used related to anything about ratings or restricting users.

The 13 age limit is there, because it is against US law to collect data on children under 13. So if that is checked, the only thing Valve does is NOT collect data.

Also, how about parents, you goof?

Its not Valve's reponsibility. The +18 games are not shown as default and you have to be atleast 13 to even make a steam account. If people lie about their age or parents don't care, then it is their fault.

I never saw you complain about other types of games like murdering/gore/foul mouth/illigal substances"drugs"/ tobacco, etc etc etc..

It's not as much about the search function, it's people simply wanting stuff they don't like off the shelves. It's just another case of "Steam should not sell things I dislike."
