So... I spent countless hours farming both exp and ressources,
Walking, and fighting OP bosses just for beeing allowed to delete and recreate a character.
Words cannot explain how mad I am. Tell me how you feelt when you finished the game.

I've yet to do so, and have heard of how unsatisfying the "ending" is for many.
Needless to say I'm in no rush to finish.

How the games ends has been known since about the first week after the release. There are vids on YouTube that cover it.

Why are you mad at how a game ends, most games just give you a credit scroll if your lucky and some music with an ending you didn't choose. Few games like Mass Effect and Witcher have carry on storylines with outcomes that impact events in future games, this is not one of those games. While i agree there needs to be more story content too keep the single player interested i don't really care about end game splash screens because really that's all they are. What would you like? a run down on all the time you spent in game.. Take some screen shots and write a few words so when you look back on them you see a story unfold on how your game evolved.

Build something cool and dominate the locals is what this game is mostly about, It would be nice if you could use the thralls like an army, Mount & Blade is a great game for that. I feel Conan Exiles needs a touch of that style of play for the single player to get more use of the map.

You must have missed the part where the Archivist suggests you might not want to leave what the Exiled Lands has to offer you.

Meaning:
You survived being nailed to a cross.
You survived countless enemies.
You survived a beautiful and harsh environment.
You've come to dominate your world.
You've captured thralls, broke them, they are now your servants and followers.
You've built your own kingdom.

Why would you want to leave?

Doing what I have done, there is nothing to "go home" to.
The Exiled Lands is now my home.
I am the master of my own domain.

As for the one responsible for putting me in this place, Thoth Amon ...
I don't know if I would thank him or nail him to the cross I was once on.

All i can suggest too you is try some world overhaul mods if your tired of the base game, some players like to add story content or interesting ideas that can expand your game play.

i am personaly on a server with age of calamitous, people have a king in their base, and other people have to kill your king and there is some very powerful mob in this mod.

what I was expecting was : when I get rid of the bracellet my character would hunt down the man who stole the serpent ring of set then the game would end cause the archivist hyped me about a great men who stole the ring by going into a dungeon full of traps ! so i expected to figth this great warior !

Why so you could steal the Serpent Ring from him. To what purpose must you seek the ring when you gained your freedom and are no longer bound to the exiled lands.

Seems like Freedom isn't a reward these days. Killing something is.

I think you should of gotten some special I FINISHED THE GAME PANTS. So you can wear them around and show your friends you beat Conan Exiles. Maybe Funcom has a shop and can sell you a pair of game finishing undies.

Seriously if Your chasing a guy around for a ring then you'll probably want another quest too steal his pants too, i'd just leave it at you won your freedom, vanquished your enemies and ended up owning a castle or two with a hoard of slaves and beasts.

I remember hearing that it was (at least some point of time) intended that when you craft the keystone the mummy of Thoth Amon would appear as a final boss, and only after beating him you would have been free to leave the Exiled lands.
I think that would be cool and have some meaning for creating keystone, because now most of the players - me included - never see any point in crafting it.
The mummy should be like almost op boss, so that you would need to have the very best of the gear and use all your skills to beat him, penalty of getting killed in fight against him would result the destruction of the keystone and back to Exiled land grinding materials for that you go.

thats some really deep s**t m8 I respect that. but I'll rather chase the guy for the ring not for vengance because I'll always seek more power that's unfortunatly how I work.

Ok then, if you think stealing someone's ring will give the game more balance and story line or just add some bullcrap padding that has no real story content. You might as well make it the whole goal of the game is to kill the baddest guy in the world for his pants because it's not like your getting political intrigue here or some indepth game of thrones character break down with a book of there own for each npc in the game.

Probably the garbage they will sell to HBO viewers next, Short side gig story's of characters that can't get work after the show and need cash for a huge ICE habit they now have. Someone will keep flogging a dead horse for every last penny.
