Are ALL Saves In C:/Users?
I got a new external HDD that I want to copy my game saves over to.

I'm not necessarily interested in copying over the actual games. I just want to keep the saves, so that way I'll always have them backed up in case my internal one crashes.

Didn't want to copy/paste the entirety of my installed games folder if I didn't have to. I just want the saves. Wanted to make sure that ALL of your saved games are in C:/Users/Username/My Documents.

The answer is "no". The gamesaves are not guaranteed to be stored in one area.

No there's not that many saving to your documents saves.
Many are in different places and I had to some real searching to find them all when I did the same thing.
Only my oldest games saved My Documents
Use the developers name to search the directory of their games.
AppData local low many in there

There are typically a bunch saved in Documents as you say, either in the root (usually with a publisher name, sometimes with the game name), or under My Games, or under SavedGames or Saved Games.

Also some games have stored saved games or persistent account information under the steam userdata folder (been caught out by this one myself for a couple of games before when reinstalling steam and lost progress):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata

Some will be stored in places like (replace ? with your user name, or the user names of each person/account that may have used the system you want to back up). Some of these will contain saved games, others will just be config settings (which is the intended use of these folders normally)

C:\Users\?\AppData\LocalLow
C:\Users\?\AppData\Roaming
C:\Users\?AppData\Local

There are probably more that I haven't remembered/noticed though as there never seems to have been any agreement where they should go.
