If not used for a while deletion?
So I have heard from different people that if you do not use your account for more than 2 years it gets deleted is this true? My laptop broke about a year ago and I have not been on since then. I am afraid that I will lose all my games (One of them a store bought game that I have already used the code for) Can someone please tell me if this is true or not?

Thank you I was wondering about that cause it seemed very odd to me and stupid that they would do that without warning

The only ones who does this is Origin (one year of inactivity).

Do you have an official, reliable source for this? Pretty sure I haven't used my Origin account for over three years and I never received any notice of its "deletion"

Only that EA reserve rights to cancel inactive accounts - not any guarantee this does or is likely to occur.

There was a clause in the ToS ages ago for free user accounts but EA restated what it was for...

Got related articles below about that ea promises to not make ea games origin exclusive, and that they wont do sales as steam as that was bad.

Makes a good collection of 3 things being not as stated.

one thing you can almost take for guarantee: any account that has any game on it, be it cd key activation or store purchase wont get disabled, like ever for inactivity (at least not according to the current Tos)

They don't.
As soon as you spend money on an account, they will have to retain it indefinetely.
