Anyone know if there is a way to disable adult content filter?
I'm getting really annoyed when I try to browse games and it keeps stopping me making me say yes i want to view this game because of adult content. I'm an adult and the only one using my account should be an option somewhere to auto-allow me to view adult content games which is like 70% of games.

Something went wrong while displaying this content. Refresh

Yes there are options in https://store.steampowered.com/account/preferences to disable a lot.

Unfortunately Steam seem to ignore them or is bugged, because as an example with the following settings:

VIOLENT & SEXUAL CONTENT
Some user-generated content may not be appropriate for all audiences and will be blurred by default. You can change your warning preferences below:

☐ Blur and warn about content that may contain frequent violence or gore
☐ Blur and warn about content that may contain frequent nudity or sexual content.

MATURE CONTENT
Include products in my store that contain the following types of content:

☑ General Mature Content
☑ Frequent Violence or Gore
☑ Nudity or Sexual Content
☑ Adult Only Sexual Content

I still get annyoing age-gates in the store and also tons of blurred stuff everywhere, so clearly those settings are either bugged or purposely ignored.

If you’re hitting age gates every other game then that’s all that there is to it and you’ll just have to cope. Thems the rules because lawmakers say so.

Allow steam to store cookies on your computer, used to work. Probably still does, as far as I know.

Also it does seem that just this moment steam's a bit wonky for me. If this has been going on a while, it's definitely on your end, but if it's just today it might be steam's side of things if you've already allowed cookies.

I get no age gates and no blurred pictures. Then again, I'm not deleting the cache for the client. If you're browsing with a web browser, you might want to check how it stores cookies.

This was what I was looking for. I didn't have the blur and warn boxes unchecked, hopefully it helps.

Glad they're going after the real criminals. People who want to binge watch a show without futzing with their laptop every 20 min.

I know this is a joke, but you are aware that authorities can do more than one job at a time, right? ;)

I had a problem with this today, where I was trying to find helldivers 2 in the steam store (was using the steam client), and the search wasnt finding it... so then i searched in a browser on google instead, and when i clicked on the steam page for helldivers 2, steam told me that this game was marked as content that i did not wish to see... like... seriously?...
