Unfortunately, neither account preferences nor tags are suitable ways to get rid of trash games.

"Developers" of such games aren't going check a "[ ] Trashgame" checkbox, even if Valve offers them one.

Not good enough, I'm actually wait for valve give us a better filter tool that can exclude by multiple keywords.

Or Valve can just increase the fee of steam direct to 1000 usd, it will reduce the willing of dev to publish their games.

Making false reports seems like a good way to get your own account banned, not the game.
I seen a few of those ban "tries" on games that did not contain any of that accused content and it never worked.
The games are still sold and the accusers got banned for false reporting.

And because steam have taste police (they recently banned a visual novel because it involved a fictional minor in a suggestive situation) such true report might get the game banned.

Because words like almost and looks. If they look clearly underage go ahead and report, but don't expect all of borderline cases end up favorably and especially don't expect support to take you seriously after a mountain of possibly missleading reports. Just because you think it's pic of a minor does not mean everyone will agree. It's a cultural thing.

Mind you, not that I'm supporting games like hentai puzzle and such, quite the opposite.
I'm not against VN with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ undertones though, you know, for story.

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ content isn't the problem, the problem is these games are on the edge as a troll game that defined by Valve. They are mostly poor content, made by unity assest or something, mass and quick produce easily.

Like for example, from what I hear a game called The Key To Home or something got removed from Steam under the guise of "child pornography" but from what I heard, its not ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in nature at all. If a bit of cleavage is what you consider pornography, then your bar for what ♥♥♥♥ is, is far too low. Well for starters, that was about a minor. That's a separate can of worms that most ♥♥♥♥ stuff avoids by directly stating that the characters are 18 years of age. I know nothing about your example and from your description it sounds like it didn't deserve to be lumped in with regular smut (though the fact that it was removed is concerning). I know that there are stories out there that incorporate nudity and ♥♥♥ in ways that are genuinely mature and aren't primarily for the viewer's pleasure. I don't support a complete ban of everything like that; it's just that these cash grabs are a blatant stain on Steam's storefront because they serve no purpose other than to be pornography. That's a very clear separation from even Far Cry 4's mangled use of nudity.
