too many hentai puzzle games that just made by a unity asset.
if valve don't ban these, at least allow us ban by ourself.

Making false reports seems like a good way to get your own account banned, not the game.
I seen a few of those ban "tries" on games that did not contain any of that accused content and it never worked.
The games are still sold and the accusers got banned for false reporting.
But please, be my guest and try.

Where did I say a word about false reports? Almost every hentai game have girls that looks like they are below 18, which is a minor in US. And because steam have taste police (they recently banned a visual novel because it involved a fictional minor in a suggestive situation) such true report might get the game banned.
You can never say that. What if the dev tell you an anime girl that looks 12 is actually 42 for example? Its something ambigue that can't be fought. Im not saying that if such game exist its fine. in fact i find it disturbing and disgusting. but just saying that its a bit ambigue especially if we are talking about anime or cartoon

the option's already there, problem is it doesn't work for things like the Queue and when it recommends it to you in the store. Search results only.

I hate to tell you this, but there are tons of garbage games on Steam that are made with only Unity assets. If you want those games banned, then you would have to have all Asset Flip games on Steam banned. And Valve wont do that. They already allowed hundreds onto their Store Page, because they are paying Valve a 100$ fee to get on. So it wouldn't be profitable for them to ban the games you are talking about.

"P-please, Valve, decide what's good for me as I don't have a mind of my own to ignore what I dislike!" Grow up, will you?

there's a gaming terminology for that exact type of behavior. Maybe you've heard of it or maybe you haven't.

they have actually removed some of it, from what little I've heard, they're doing good so far, except for the removal of one game that was removed under the guise of "child pornography" ...even though it had no sexual content. A YouTuber I follow did a video on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRqsIf8U96s

People are angry about The Key To Home being removed. It was because they did not submit all their ratings for it.

Nice strawmanning. I love how everybody is so up about "fweedom of speech" despite Valve stating that games that are borderline trolling and/or asset flips are easy to consider removing, but they're still on the store.

Glad to hear you can shut down entire arguments because "u r are an sjw" or some other buzzterm.

The person you're quoting didn't even say anything of freedom of speech or sjws or anything.

Going to ignore the part about Valve stating that these kind of games are close to touching an easy ban hammer but are still up eh? As for the "esjawawes" and "fweedom of speech" part, there aren't that many people who are actually pro-censorship (one journalists using clickbait isn't a good example), most of them are actually pro-curation (quality control, distinguish games from digital garbage) and genuinely want to see the store improve. Of course, isn't it great when we just get called some buzzterm or have our own points refuted regardless?

Groups like Sentinal of the Stores exist to advocate Steam to become better, not worse. After all, "P-please, Valve, decide what's good for me" and similar sarcastic mocks and stuff pretty much follow similar ways of shutting down other people even if they do have valid statements.

Well the one game I was asked about has various sexual behaviors including incest shown graphically, so I fail to see how Valve is prudish.

I'm not out to demand the stuff be removed either but I won't buy it.

From Snow Daze

MATURE CONTENT DESCRIPTION
The developers describe the content like this:

Male x female, female x female, multiple female x male
Mind control/brainwashing
Step-family sexual relations
Intercrural sex
Anal sex, vaginal sex, fellatio, irrumatio, non-penetrative inter-gluteal sex, spanking
Graphic depictions and descriptions of sexual content.
Impregnation and pregnancy
Petplay, exhibitionism, dominance and submission, feminization, orgasm-denial.
Indecent clothing

Its a matter of censorship rather than curation as soon as its being removed for being obscene/objection of morals, etc. rather than being it being due to quality. That video I linked does actually mention that some games with Hentai in them were removed. However, in those cases, they were very low effort games. Thats where I draw the line, and no, no matter how lewd a game is, or the ratio at which the lewd content is to the gameplay, that doesn't in itself make the game lower quality. The vast majority of journalists make it a moral issue, not a quality one.
