It was WAY better before, because you were getting coins right away based on your Steam purchases. Now you have to complete some time wasting tasks in order to get 100 tokens.
I won't even bother
I must've missed it, I apologize. I'm getting fed up with the same tweaked scheme they've used all this year. It really hasn't helped with the fact that their UI is getting so messed up I'm having to use discord now for pure voice chats since steam isn't using my audio drivers correctly for output.
Then there's profile themes, the most pissed away chance to make steam even better for social media customization than it has ever been before. It's nice to see something different but to pay money for expiring digital merchandise is breaking bank..
the only thing that could have been useful was the coupon but it being temporary makes it effectively worthless. a good coupon could be used even years after.
all the rest is either temporary, or worthless forum stuff, or both.
there is literally no point to getting dragged trough such excruciating tasks is really not worth it. your time is better spent elsewhere on more personnaly rewarding tasks
My excuse is I have a huge library of games and I'm getting old. The industry has shifted more to microtransactions and lousier customer service. Last thing I'd need right now is to go buying games from another source only to face more problems dealing with their bad practices. Steam is crap sure, but it's just a lesser evil I can bare with until these corporate losers start competing to improve these services rather than screw us. I couldn't give a rat's left ass cheek who's got the better deals.
Can you please stop with the personal attacks?
Look at it.
The colors are aweful, the tables look like they were made in painter, by a 2nd grader...
Come on valve :c
A sucker born every minute.
