Steam "Top Selling" list is fake news! ^^

Right now a mixed review DLC for an ancient total war game is at the very top of the "top selling" games for me.

Wonder how many shekels Sega gave Gaben to put their crappy DLC with less features than the base game on the top seller list. ^^

lets go over this again

1) The top sellers is not fake
2) No one can 'buy' their way into the top sellers

3) top sellers is based on total REVENUE, not copies sold
4) Top sellers is broken down into a regional top selers list and teh global top sellers. The default you see is the regional top sellers
5) Total war Rome2 is very popular and its new expansion is extensive
6) There are 11k people playing Rome 2 right now
7) "I dont like it" doesn't mean it doesn't sell.

Top selling is just that, top selling.

I my not want to buy it, but it is DLC for a popular game series, so it probably sold very well.

34 total reviews and its mixed. Does not seem like they would get enough revenue from that to beat Monster Hunter. ^^

1) the expansion just came out so yes there will be few reviews
2) all the negative reviews are lack fo mac support

Also most Monster Hunter sales have already occured months ago when the preorder did go live.
The game was on the top spot for quiet a while then.
