Steam Youtube Links
Hello guys, so recently I opened a youtube link on a guy's profile and it got me on his youtube account. Are those links safe, or is there a chance my account is compromised? I mean it didn't download anything and just redirected me to his youtube channel. Am I safe?

You can't just link any YouTube location to STEAM, your Safe...

But in terms of doing it yourself, is a real head ache I went through,
so I just would avoid it if you don't want the hastle...

But if you want to anyways, you I believe need to have Games
associated by Games on STEAM on your YouTube Channel,
or possibly something New on there, i'm not sure...

It's something like that...

My old DBZ Game Videos would not link up...

So good luck...

Always copy links to clipboard and paste them in another tab at your browser, if you have to visit them in the first place. Nothing is safe by default.

Yeah but it was just a link to a youtube channel in his description. From comments, it was ok. But if I got something somehow, will changing my password work out?

Clicking on a youtube video link will not infect your computer.

Clicking on links in comments or the description of said video however might be unsafe. As above: always check first if you are in any doubt.

Also: if you're being told 'there is free stuff here!' it IS a scam.

Well I changed my pass, and I see nothing wrong happened so far. I hope I am safe, for it was just a link to a channel, and it downloaded nothing. Thank you people for your answers!

Which is completely pointless to do?
