*SOLVED* Help.. ANNOYING rotating green cursor arrow in all games!!!

I really need help. I have had a steam account for a long time and I only recently built a strong gaming PC. I have never had any issues with this before but no matter what I've researched I can not find any one who seems to be having the same problem I am.

This problem that I am having is whenever I load up a game (any game, at first I thought it was just Arma 3 or FPS games), This god-awful annoying Green rotating arrow shows up around where the cross-hairs or center cursor is located in all games in the middle of the screen. I do not know what it is or why its there but I can not for the life of me seem to disable it. It almost seems like it would be an objective marker that points you to where you need to go in the game but it is not. It just rotates in a 360* plain around the center of the screen wherever it wants to point with seemingly no meaning whatsoever.

The only thing that I think it might be, is some sort of plugin (from Nvidia, or Asus Motherboard) or windows 10 driver that I need to disable but I have no clue what it might be coming from since the problem only shows up in games that I run from Steam. I don't get this issue in any other games like Fortnite, League of Legends, or minecraft, only Steam games.

If anyone has any thoughts as to what plugin, driver, steam setting or etc. this overlay arrow is, and how I can disable it I would greatly appreciate it! I rarely ever make help-discussion posts, but this is something I cannot figure out for the life of me how to fix. So, any and all advice is greatly appreciated!! Thank you very much!

Looks like some kind of overlay icon for a third party process such as mouse or controller or other input device, maybe. Or another third party process.

Run msconfig from Windows Start and see what processes are listed under services and startup tabs there.

Click the box to "hide all Microsoft Services", to make the lists shorter.

The process that is the green arrow is surely in the list there somewhere.

Interesting :). Try googling sonic radar. looks like might be motherboard / rog strix thing.

Thank You So Much, The Giving One!!! You have saved me, It was one of those boxes in the System Configuration. I did what you suggested and I basically disabled different options until I found the problem! I believe it was either an ASUS lighting service or this thing called Nahamic Service and by unchecking the box that evil green arrow is gone!

Thanks for the reply and kind words. Yes, I have seen others post about the Nahamic Service causing this kind of problem before. You can probably find the threads stating such in the Help and Tips forum using the search box and typing in "Nahamic" for the search terms, if you are interested.
